Arte Puro’s Flamenco-Jazz Trio brings the sounds of Andalusian jazz to life through a vivid blend of flamenco rhythm and jazz improvisation. Thanushka Bandara (piano/keys), Anthony McKinney (bass), and Jesús Pacheco (percussion) perform music inspired by Pedro Iturralde, Federico García Lorca, Paco de Lucía, and contemporary flamenco-jazz artists including Ismael Alcina, Andrés Barrios, Sergio de Lope, and Jorge Pardo. Ana María Barceló, an accomplished flamenco dancer and educator, brings the music to life through expressive movement and captivating visual flair.
