Jake Gluckman is an undergraduate at Yale College majoring in American Studies. He is taking this year off of school to sing and travel the world with the Yale Whiffenpoofs, America’s oldest a cappella group. Jake wrote the music, lyrics, and book to My World, a musical based on his brother’s experience growing up with autism and navigating romance and independence as he finished high school. Jake has studied performance, composition, lyric-writing, and libretto writing in Yale’s Shen Curriculum for Musical Theater, and he recently performed as Ernst in the Yale Dramat’s production of Spring Awakening in the fall of 2018.
