Since his move from Europe to the United States, Hendrik has played and recorded with New York’s most respected musicians and is acknowledged as one of NYC’s top session guitarists today. He learned to play the organ, trumpet and flugelhorn at the age of 10, then switched to guitar at the age of 12. Hendrik’s strength lies in his talent to play any style of music. His original works are searing portraits of truth and his singing is a unique blend of various styles including blues, R & B and rock. Hendrik’s brief involvement with hip-hop impresarios Wyclef Jean and partner Jerry Wonder had the most influence on his career, leading him to record with Grammy nominated artist AMBER in December of 2003.
