Maya Levine

Maya Levine is a native New Yorker and hails from the Upper West Side. She is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan (go blue!), where she majored in International Studies and minored in Judaic Studies. Maya currently works for UJA-Federation of New York in the Planned Giving and Endowments Department.

Maya has always been a staunch advocate for special needs and she inherited this passion from her parents, who developed the first ever Special Needs prayer service at their synagogue in Manhattan. The project, Shireinu, is widely successful throughout the year and has served as a model for synagogues and churches to implement similar initiatives throughout the country.

Maya attended her first Music for Autism concert over the summer and loved it. She is really excited to be on the Junior Board!
