Julie Nusbaum

Julie is an internal medicine resident at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She is interested in preventative healthcare and community wellness. She served as co-president of the American Medical Student Association at Mount Sinai School of Medicine from 2008-2009 and helped write the medical school’s policy on faculty disclosure of relationships with industry. Before starting medical school, Julie lived in Buenos Aires where she worked for a graphic design company and came to love all things Argentinean. With strong interests in nutrition, anthropology, and service, Julie graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Society from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. She received her MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and a Masters Degree in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University in 2012.
