Music for Autism Holds First Outdoor Amphitheater Concert

M4A celebrated our first outdoor concert at Marvin’s Camp featuring Altius Winds. Held in Staten Island, over 100 guests attended and enjoyed the lovely sounds and scenery.

The performers were brought by golf cart to the middle of a forest where there was a stage and seating built into the landscape. The performers warmed up and suddenly campers were approaching from every direction. The campers and staff sat on the built-in wooden benches and the concert started with a piece from Rossini’s William Tell Overture. The audience was lively and very engaged and four different campers conducted. The members of Altius Winds were magnificent with the audience and their music was exquisite.
