Leland Ko, a cellist of Chinese-Canadian descent, recently took home joint First Prize at the prestigious 2024 Naumburg International Cello Competition. In 2023, Leland captured First Prize at the Montreal Symphony Orchestra (OSM) Competition, along with the J.S. Bach Special Prize and the Orchestra of the Americas Prize.
Loa Cho, cello (Bowling Green, OH), has been playing for eleven years. She is a student of the Columbia-Juilliard dual degree program, and has performed at various institutes including Cellofest (London), Young Artists Program at Wilfrid Laurier University, the National Cello Institute (Los Angeles), Indiana University’s Summer String Academy, and Meadowmount School of Music (New York).
