Erich Schoen-Rene

Erich is principal cellist of The Chelsea Symphony, and a regular performer with Distinguished Concerts International New York, The Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas, and numerous other orchestral and chamber ensembles. He has performed in collaboration with Joan Tower, Bill Whelan, Athena Tergis, Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, Akiko Sasaki, among others. Recordings span many genres, from the electronic and eclectic music of End, to indy-rock bands too numerous to count, to an ongoing project to record Bach’s six suites for solo cello.
